Greetings from IISWBM! The first B-School in India and South East Asia. Established in the year 1953, Indian Institute of Social Welfare & Business Management Kolkata has successfully laid the foundation for Management Education in India. The Institute is dedicated towards its core ethos of creating socially conscious managers, leaders and entrepreneurs.
IISWBM through its E-cell aims to create Awareness, Environment and provide Mentorship support-cum-professional Networking platform to the students and alumni in order to facilitate their start-up dream.
It gives me immense pleasure to state that the E-cell promotes Research & Innovations in Social Entrepreneurship and Corporate Entrepreneurship with the same amount of zeal.

About IISWBM
Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, Kolkata was founded on 25th April,1953, making it the first B-School of Eastern Asia.
The institute has served as the mentor institute for IIM Calcutta and ISM Dhanbad.
In recognition of the 50 years of glorious existence, the Government of India released a commemorative postage stamp on IISWBM in 2004. The institute continues to deliver excellence and ignite young minds to be a leader and reach greater heights in their career.
