Annual Corporate Summit
ENTREPRERNA, the flagship summit of E-Cell of IISWBM, is spread over two days in the financial year end. The summit is dedicated towards promoting and inculcating entrepreneurship skills and knowledge in the minds of the youth.
It serves as an excellent platform for the students to pursue entrepreneurial activities and also helps entrepreneurs with resources, ideas and networking.

Note: Due to the Covid pandemic, Entreprerna’20, originally slated to be held on 17th and 18th of March, stands cancelled, as per the official government notice to suspend all eduactional instutions and activities.
BIG FISH
Big Fish is usually held on the very first day of Entreprerna, during the first half. It is a competition for startups, giving them a platform to win capital through investments.
It is an excellent opportunity for budding entrepreneurs to showcase their business skills and acumen and stand a chance to get sponsored by venture capitalists and angel investors. Start-ups who are operational for over 3-6 months and those with a working prototype are the ones that qualify to present their business for investments. The 6 Start-ups who qualify for the final pitch day will pitch their business for the panel to be considered for investments.
In the past, Venture Capitalists like Mainak Bhattacharya (Founder, Calcutta Angels Network),
Bhavna Chattopadhyay (Adviser, Taxitop Media and Advertising) and Arijit Bhattacharya
(Financial Consultant) among others have made the goal of Big Fish a success.
MOCK IPL AUCTION
It is an inter-departmental event within IISWBM, mimicking a real IPL auction where teams compete with their bidding skills to create the best possible mock IPL team. It is generally held during the second half of the first day of Entreprerna, just after Big Fish.
In the Mock IPL Auction Session, the students of IISWBM form a team of 3 members each, and they are allotted a virtual amount of money with which they need to bid for players. The Mock IPL Auction is played in a way which is similar to the real life IPL Auction.
However, the winners are decided based on the maximum number of virtual points collected by the teams with minimal cost incurred, which showcases the skill of optimal management of funds with maximum impact. The virtual points and base prices are allotted to each player according to the actual IPL ratings. It is also necessary for each team to buy a predefined minimum number of players.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP SUMMIT
The second day of Entreprerna seeks to felicitate interaction among management students and entrepreneurial luminaries. Our goal is to bring together bright minds to give talks that are idea-oriented, and on a wide range of subjects, to foster learning, inspiration and wonder – and provoke conversations that matter. This segment is dedicated towards nurturing and fostering innovation and inspiring mind growth.
Eminent Entrepreneurs and Intrapreneurs visit the campus and share their life experiences, giving a chance of growth to fellow entrepreneurs and students. Some of the Entrepreneurs who had visited us in the past and helped us achieve our goal are: Mr. Prantik Sinha (CEO, Agustya Bouyant, Runner up of Egiye Bangla, organised by the Govt of West Bengal), Miss Agnimitra Paul (Celebrated Fashion Designer), Mr. A.K. Chandra (MD, P.C. Chandra Group), Miss.Ushoshi Sengupta ( Miss Universe 2010, Entrepreneur), Mr. Anirban Dasgupta ( Comedian) among others.
